I studied Photography briefly at Purdue University, but my interest in photography started at a very young age. My mom always loved to photograph my siblings and i, and still treasures photos in a very special way. I did not graduate from Purdue, though I did benefit from my classes there, most of my knowledge was picked up as I went along.
I shot a couple of weddings in 2006 and started my business officially in 2007. I have shot almost 200 weddings between 2007 and 2015. After the birth of my oldest, Henry, I became more interested in photographing newborns and children which led to my first studio space at the end of 2012 at 1009 S Franklin St. I still primarily shoot weddings, but very much enjoy my studio work as well! The studio opened up into a cooperative space in 2014 offering rental to area photographers and a wonderful space of sharing and community.
My favorite things include my children, my home, my husband, nature, birth, babies, traveling, caves, succulents, food, sci fi, summertime, the beach, flowers, baked goods, and of course PHOTOGRAPHY!
